Smart gadgets and wearables such as smartwatches and fitness trackers have become extremely popular but are usually considered to be extensions of smartphones in one way or another. That said, some tech experts have been speculating that the connectivity features of these devices could provide considerably greater benefit in cities like Dubai, where future-ready technologies are already being embraced.
The idea is that wearing this type of technology could help to further enhance the experience of these cities.
Dubai is typically considered to be a leader among smart cities. It has been implementing some of the most cutting-edge tech, and wearing smart gadgets has the potential to integrate with services throughout such locations.
Additional features that could result from such integrations could include anything from rapid healthcare to remaining seamlessly connected. Some tech experts believe that by advancing wearables in these locations, the need for conventional smartphones could be eliminated and watches, rings or even holographic tech could be used instead.
Naturally, smart gadgets haven’t quite reached this level yet, but they’re not impossible to imagine.
